14. Give me five Sanctuary headcanons.

• Over the course of her 113-year hiatus, Magnus gathered a number of rare vintage wines to keep in a special cellar back at the Sanctuary just for her and Nikola to share on “special occasions”.
• At some point in time when she was just on her own, before Ashley and Henry, Helen had a cat or two around to keep her company.
• Henry and Erika are planning for the time when they can bring their son/daughter to his/her first San Diego Comic Con.
• James was around often when Ashley and Henry were little to spend time with them and Helen. Somewhere in her bedroom or office, she has a picture of the four of them from that time.
• Periodically, Charlotte takes leave from her studies to test her theories and conduct field experiments. These “experiments” always end up taking place at the Sanctuary either in the lab or Magnus’s bedroom.

15. Give me five favourite Sanctuary ships, and tell me why you like them.

• Helen/Nikola. THIS SHOULD BE OBVIOUS! They have such great chemistry I find it practically impossible not to ship them! Plus, I mean come on, they’re both insanely attractive!!
• Helen/Charlotte. Another obvious one. All knowledge of what was to occur in Monsoon prior to it airing aside, I like Charlotte from the moment I met her and she’s a great character to watch reveal a side of Helen not often seen. I would love to see her more in the future.
• Kate/Declan. I’ve just always liked how they looked together, I think they’re great for each other. :)
• Helen/James. With the back story that’s been revealed involving them over the seasons and especially with moments in Normandy and Tempus that make the end of Revelations pt2 so much more powerful, I hold a special place in my heart for these two.
• Helen/Will. Started out as a bit of a guilty pleasure ship but around mid-season 3 with a little bit of fandom magic thrown in for good measure I found myself shipping them a lot more. Two words: Emotional. Compass.

16. Give me three favourite characters, and three least favourites, and tell me why this is the case.

Favourite:

• Helen Magnus, because of her overall fabulousness and her gunbum and just living up to the name “Doctor of Ass-kicking” every damn day of her life.
• Nikola Tesla. The man is absolutely brilliant in every way and his relationship with Magnus if fantastic!
• Henry. I love Henry! I’ve loved him since the very first episode! He’s so sweet and wonderful and geeky and reminds me a bit of myself sometimes! XD And plus, how badass is it when he HAPs Out? VERY BADASS.

Least Favourite:
( I don’t particularly dislike any characters in terms of something like, “Meh. They didn’t really fit the show or they weren’t portrayed well, etc.” so these are just a few antagonist characters that drove me crazy. )

• Greg Addison. HOLY SHIT WHAT AN ASSHOLE HE WAS. Seriously, every time he spoke and had that smug look on his face I wanted to reach into my television and Falcon Punch him repeatedly in the head. He was however, a decent bad guy, the type that everyone can agree they hate no matter what.
• Caleb. We only saw him for a handful of episodes but damn was he as bad as bad could be. His intentions did seem pure and innocent early on at first glance but it his true colours were revealed in no time afterwards. He certainly got what he served in the end. I think he may even deserve an award for most satisfying death of a villain.
• Terrence Wexford. UGH GOD HE’S SO WHINY AND ANNOYING. Him and his weird vagina chin. He deserved a boot to the face for that little stunt he tried to pull. Glad to be rid of him.
